Custom Wine Room: From Dream to Reality

Case bins, diamond bins, display rows...oh my! This custom wine room began as a new home, a client's dream, and a raw basement. We first met Brad and his wife at the new home and determined the best available area for the wine room.

The next step was to take several visits to previous projects so the owner could really get a feel for our work. This then led to the design phase, which consisted of 3-D drawings of the future wine room, selection of materials such as natural stone tile, backsplash, lighting, tasting table, led lighting, wine cellar door, paint finishes and colors.

Our build-out began once the footprint was finalized.... and 8 weeks later the wine room was complete.The wine racks were built in our mill out of Sapele Mahogany and consisted of custom case bin racking, as well as diamond bins, and display rows. The great thing about being the manufacturer is the freedom we have to build just about anything. The climate-controlled wine cellar features a ductless split cooling unit which, in our humble opinion, is the quietest on the market and is framed with a grill cover made from the same wood species.

The overall design is clean yet elegant...with a very cool cave-like entrance. The owners love their 2,000+ custom wine cellar and who could blame them?
